The services rendered by IGM are as follows

The girls home is situated at Guduvancheri, where IGMs head office is located. There are 60 girls from the age of 6 years. They all are school going children and they go to the school nearby. Care-takers, cooks, drivers and supervisors take care of the children.

This is a boys home which is 9 kilometre away from head quarters. We have 54 boys, from the age of 6 years, children go to different schools, like Middle school, Higher secondary school and college. Cooks, care takers, paramedical staff and driver stay there and take care of the children. We arrange transport to children to school and back home.

The children home at Salamangalam is situated 16 kilometres away from the IGM head office. There are 20 children from the age of 6 years. The children go to the nearby school. Care-takers, cooks, drivers and supervisors take care of the children.

This is a girls home situated at Ooty, a hill station in Tamil Nadu. we have girls from the tribal community, girls are from age eight to sixteen years, cook, care taker and the supervisor take care of the Children. These girls go to different schools, for some it is walkable distance, whereas others use transport. For the children in the three orphanages we provide food, clothing, dormitory, education and health care, by the humble and kind donation of our well-wishers.

IGM provides a six months carpentry training program for boys between 15-18 years. This training is specialized for the poor children, school dropouts and for those who are not willing to continue their higher education. We train them with experienced carpentry faculty; we have two instructors, one for theory and one for practicals. At the end of the course IGM gives an authorized certificate through which they can work in big companies after the apprenticeship. IGM provides food, accommodation, training and uniform at free of cost and send them out as skilled carpenters.

IGM provides tailoring training to women who come under the women up-lift-ment project. This is a six months course, 25 to 30 women get trained every six months.The centre has two tutors . This is a day scholar study so IGM provides only training and at the end of the course, IGM gives a tailoring Machine for the students to continue their Career and a course completion certificate. Apart from the training, counselling and medical care is given.

IGM provides free tuition after school in 3 villages which has 500 children with qualified teachers. Stationaries and study materials are provided for the children, most of them are the first generation school goers, their parents are illetrate and they lack the guidance at home. Along with their school subjects, moral classes are also taken. IGM strongly believes that education alone can eradicate poverty, and the foundation of bright future lies in education.

Free medical center is a successful effort covering many villages. The center’s main aim is to render primary health care to the local poor people. The center is situated at Thenmalpakkam, a village, 35 minutes drive from the head quarter. The center is opened twice in a week. Our doctor’s team attends patients and gives medicines according to sickness. Through this project per day average 72 patients are benefited. The doctor’s team is paid through our Mission. Also we take the Medical team to the remote villages twice a month for the special care for the elderly.

In the day-today world, we do not even take pain to care the elderly peoples in our houses. IGM is supporting 32 elderly people and widows. Monthly support is give to them. Elders and widows who have none to take care of them are benefited by our service.

Service for the lepers has gained more fame in recent months. Volunteers go once in every week help and instruct them the ways of cleanliness. They spend one whole day with them, conveying the message through stage shows and also for entertainment. They are in great need in all the ways especially food, clothing and stay. At present we have 21 families and total numbers of people are 78 people including children.

We do give a computer training program for boys and girls during the summer vacation. Children after finishing their school exam in the month of April will have 45 days of holidays. During this they can learn a computer course and get benefited out of it. The IGM has offered a Basic computer course for these children. We also encourage the Local area Children to join in this course. Every year nearly 230 to 260 children will join this course. They are taught to operate the system, draw pictures, write letters, and Basic Computer Skills and also they will have an exam. Finally they are awarded certificates for this course.

IGM provides higher education for the Boys and Girls. Nine students are going to Collage 2 in BCA, 6 in BBA and 1 in SSC. In trade there are 9 boys doing electrical and electronics. Three Girls are doing Staff Nursing.

The IGM is feeding the hungry in the streets, downtrodden villages, Disaster areas, flood relief programs, Land slide and natural disasters. IGM is feeding regularly in the monthly basics for the Gypsy People, Leprosy People, downtrodden villages, Widows, Elderly people and Orphans. We feed Approximately 1, 20,000 people a year.

IGMs tailoring project was started with the aim to raise the financial status of the poor families. This project is for house wives, young-girls who are unable to continue their higher studies, and for part-time learners. It is a six months course, well experienced teacher's train the students. After the course certificate of completion will be issued to the regular students.
